The Friday before Derby is for the fillies and the lilies. In 2006, the Oaks Lily raced onto the cocktail scene as an alternative to the Mint Julep. It was created by Brown-Forman chief entertainment officer, Tim Laird, and will certainly amuse the taste buds of you and your guests.



3 oz Cranberry Juice

1½ oz Tito's Handmade Vodka

1 oz Lime Juice

1 oz Triple Sec

Crushed Ice


Toss all your ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake, shake, shake! Once chilled, strain over a glass of crushed ice. Garnish with a sliver of lemon peel and a few blackberries.
